Lifetime Limited Warranty
Coverage for as long as you own your vehicle
At Finishworks Auto Body, we stand behind our work. The following warranty applies to qualifying repairs and is valid for as long as you own your vehicle. Coverage is limited as described below.
Paint & Refinishing — Lifetime
- Application defects such as peeling, blistering, delamination, loss of gloss, or abnormal fading.
- Backed by our refinish system provider program.
- Requires reasonable care and maintenance.
Body & Metal Work — Lifetime
- Workmanship on welded, structural, and cosmetic body repairs.
- Panel fitment and alignment related to our repair.
- Excludes rust or corrosion that develops after delivery.
Parts — Manufacturer Warranty Only
- OEM, aftermarket, or recycled (LKQ) parts are covered by the supplier’s warranty.
- Finishworks does not extend additional lifetime coverage on parts.
- Documentation available upon request.
Mechanical & Sublet Work — Vendor Warranty
- Glass, wheel alignments, ADAS calibration, and mechanical items performed by partners.
- Covered under those vendors’ warranties and terms.
Not Covered
- Subsequent collisions, impact, or vandalism.
- Normal wear and tear.
- Environmental damage: road salt, UV/sun fade, acid rain, bird droppings, tree sap, fallout.
- Improper care, detailing chemicals not recommended, or neglect.
- Pre‑existing rust, corrosion, or unrelated failures.
How to claim: Bring the vehicle to Finishworks with your repair order. We will inspect the concern and remedy covered workmanship issues at no charge. This warranty is non‑transferable and applies only to the original customer for as long as they own the vehicle. Nothing herein extends any manufacturer’s parts warranty or covers damage outside our control.

Can I transfer the warranty if I sell the car?
This warranty applies only to the person named on the repair order and is not transferable.
Do I need to register the warranty?
No registration needed. Keep your repair paperwork and contact us if you have any concerns.
What maintenance is required?
Reasonable washing and care. Avoid harsh chemicals and unapproved coatings on freshly refinished panels.
